SILVER CARE: SHINY SILVER

Sterling silver jewelry will naturally tarnish with time & wear. Whenever possible, store silver pieces in a jewelry box, cloth or plastic bag to help prevent tarnish. If tarnish needs to be removed, a polishing cloth (recommended) or commercial silver cleaners may be used. For general cleaning, it is safe to clean your silver and gold jewelry with a soft toothbrush and common dishwashing liquid (for pieces containing no natural materials) 
 

SILVER CARE: OXIDIZED (DARKENED) SILVER

Many of my silver pieces have a darkened finish. With time, the high spots of these will become naturally polished, creating a shiny silver/darkened silver contrast. My pieces are designed to hold the oxidation within the texture, and will only look better over time. If you would like to maintain the oxidized look for longer, it is recommended to remove jewelry when showering, sleeping, and working with heavy tools etc. 

GOLD CARE

The great thing about gold is it naturally stays clean, and does not tarnish. You may notice scratches over time with wear and tear of rings, that is natural. If your rings or other jewelry need a cleaning due to build up of lotion/make up etc, you can clean your jewelry with a soft toothbrush and common dishwashing liquid (for pieces containing no natural materials). A professional jewelry store can polish up your jewelry and get your diamonds sparkling!
